Ewing Outdoor Supply in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee all branch operations, staff and customer satisfaction. You will direct distribution, customer service, HR, administration and sales, and implement strategies to boost productivity and hit sales targets.

The successful candidate will lead with a hands-on approach, manage budgets and forecasts, recruit and coach employees, and collaborate with suppliers and headquarters.

Qualifications

• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
• Meet goals and metrics.
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
• Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales.
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
• Meet goals and metrics.
• Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
• Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Prepare annual budget.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
