Job summary

M&D is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for the Saint Peters, MO location. The role directs staff and daily branch operations to meet sales and productivity goals, while ensuring safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has diesel engine knowledge, 3+ years in branch operations, and strong leadership with CRM and ERP experience. This on-site position offers growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; secondary education preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
• At least three years of experience working in branch operations; one year as an Assistant Branch Manager, Shop Manager, or Sales Lead is highly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce and Epicor Prelude experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, sales and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attract, train, and retain qualified candidates for all roles.
• Oversee the day-to-day branch operations and staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and salary recommendations as appropriate.
• Lead daily branch meetings with staff and manage schedules.
• Coordinate employee work plans and control overtime expenses.
• Work with HR on policies and compliance.
• Set performance standards with the Division Manager and ensure reporting.
• Maintain relationships with clients and demonstrate excellent service.
• Enter sales and inventory data into ERP; create work orders and invoices.
• Manage inventory control and loss prevention measures.
