Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Jericho, NY is seeking a Branch Senior Operations Specialist to ensure efficient branch operations and service excellence. Reports to the National Branch Operations Administrator with secondary reporting to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities include processing funds, client disbursements, order cancellations, and compliance. Requires 2+ years in brokerage/financial services, FINRA registrations, strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of brokerage/financial services experience with some management exposure.
• FINRA registrations: SIE and Series 99 or Series 7 and 63 are required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process money movements of funds in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
• Handle client disbursements and delivery.
• Process cancellations and corrections of orders.
• Ensure compliance with Firm policies in collaboration with Branch Control Officer.
• Resolve client service issues and train operational staff.
• Liaise between Branch and Firm infrastructure areas.
• Assist with Audit preparations and client onboarding.
• Provide support for sales force as requested by Branch Manager.
