Job summary

D.A. Davidson is seeking a motivated Supervisory Branch Operations Manager to support our Financial Advisors across multiple California branches.

You will partner with the Branch Manager to ensure branch operations run smoothly and stay compliant with company policies and securities industry rules. This role requires Series exams, supervisory experience, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Series 7, 65 or 66, 24, 9 and/or 10 exams preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with FAs, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate branch support staff activities with Branch Manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Initiate and review staff training for peak productivity across branches.
• Oversee payroll time entries and cashiering functions to ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding of branch staff and transition of new Financial Advisors.
• Monitor expense reports, budgets, and travel to support department goals.
• Serve as liaison with IT and Human Capital to resolve operations issues.
