Job summary

Belt Power, LLC is seeking a Branch Operations Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you'll manage office activities, production, and facility management of branch operations. Responsibilities include handling quotes and orders, overseeing shop employees, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Candidates must have experience in industrial distribution, a strong mechanical background, and be comfortable in a shop environment. The position may require occasional travel for business development and training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial distribution and comfort working in a branch/shop environment.
• Strong mechanical background and ability to understand shop processes and equipment.
• ERP experience and strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization.
• Customer‑first mindset with urgency, responsiveness, and professionalism.
• Comfortable cold calling in person and over the phone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; willingness to work overtime/weekends and travel overnight as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotes and orders for outside sales, inside teams, and customers with urgency and accuracy.
• Maintain on‑time quote and order acknowledgment response times.
• Serve as the key point of contact from quote to invoicing; follow each transaction through completion.
• Review open order reports daily to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Process quotes, orders, returns, and purchasing via phone/email and through the ERP system.
• Partner with the belt shop leader/manager to optimize shop production.
• Assist with scheduling installations and support branch priorities as needs shift.
• Maintain a strong understanding of shop processes and shop equipment operation.
• Source products, initiate inventory reorders, and review inventory levels.
• Manage inside salespeople and maintain expected response metrics.
• Manage shop employees and approve work schedules.
• Conduct local customer visits and ride‑along with outside sales as needed.
• Schedule shop equipment maintenance and oversee facility repairs/upgrades.
• Maintain facility IT equipment and act as the branch point‑of‑contact.
