Job summary

Bank of Hawaii is seeking a Branch Leader to partner with the Branch Manager in executing market strategy to meet financial goals while delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences and upholding the Bank's brand.

This role oversees daily branch operations, staff development and risk/compliance, with a focus on coaching, high-net-worth client interaction, and collaboration with business unit specialists to serve our community in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, major in business or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7–10 years of related retail banking experience; leadership and management experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) or similar software; familiarity with Bank software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret market and brand strategies to ensure the branch becomes a hub of activity and delivers strong customer and employee experiences.
• Meet regularly with team members to set goals, evaluate performance, and develop plans.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations including staffing, scheduling, customer service, sales, and risk/compliance.
• Coach staff to identify high-value customers and coordinate referrals to business unit specialists.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies, training staff and implementing audit recommendations.
