Job summary

Collins Community Credit Union in Iowa is looking for a Member Relationship Specialist I at the Blairs Ferry branch. You will deliver a welcoming, professional experience across in-person, phone, and digital channels while identifying member needs and guiding them to appropriate deposit and lending solutions.

You will actively cross-sell and refer to partners, support branch growth targets, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Balance service excellence with sales and referral activity
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance discipline
• Comfortable with technology and digital tools
• Must be bondable in accordance with the State of Iowa and Collins Community Credit Union guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional service across in-person, phone, and digital channels
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions
• Actively cross-sell and refer products and services to partners
• Uncover opportunities through profiling, life events, and needs-based conversations
• Support achievement of branch and individual referral and deposit growth goals
• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and official checks
• Maintain and balance cash drawer daily
• Complete account opening maintenance documentation with accuracy
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Represent the organization in the community and support outreach events
