Job summary

Qualstar Credit Union is hiring an entry-level Branch Member Advocate at our Everett branch. You will be the first face members see, delivering friendly, accurate service and supporting digital banking needs. Training is provided to help you learn products and services quickly.

You will learn cash handling, account questions, and how to balance a teller drawer while growing your banking career in a collaborative, people-first environment.

We're excited to welcome an enthusiastic Branch Member Advocate to our Everett branch team! This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and wants to build a career in financial services. No prior banking experience? We'll provide the training and support you need to get started.

We're a people-first, purpose-driven, not-for-profit credit union serving more than 60,000 members across the Puget Sound. Headquartered in Bothell, WA, we have approximately 120 employees across four branches, with each branch location supported by a close-knit team of about five employees. Our smaller branch teams create a collaborative environment where people support one another and have a meaningful impact on the members they serve.

What You'll Do

• Create a Great Member Experience: You'll be one of the first faces members see when they visit the branch. You'll assist with everyday transactions, account questions, service requests, and digital banking needs while providing friendly, accurate, and personalized service.
  
• Help Find the Right Solutions: As you learn more about Qualstar's products and services, you'll help members understand the options available to them and identify solutions based on their individual needs. You'll have the opportunity to develop your ability to ask thoughtful questions, recognize opportunities to help members save money or simplify their finances, and make appropriate product recommendations.
• Build Your Banking Skills: You'll learn how to confidently handle cash and transactions, manage and balance a teller drawer, assist with digital banking services, and navigate the systems and resources that help us serve members. Through hands-on training and coaching, you'll build the knowledge and skills needed to grow in your career.

If you enjoy connecting with people, have customer service and cash-handling experience, are comfortable working with numbers, and can stay organized and attentive to detail in a fast-paced environment, you'll likely thrive in this role.
