American Welding & Gas, Inc. seeks an energetic Branch Manager in Elizabethtown, KY to direct daily sales, warehousing, and distribution with P&L responsibility. You will promote safety, optimize deliveries, and lead staff to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills to manage metrics, reporting, and cross-branch collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Improve branch income by managing sales, margins, and expenses.
• Improve branch store ranking through performance management.
• Review monthly financial statements and drive performance improvements.
• Coordinate with other branches to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
• Submit sales paperwork (invoices, audits, etc.) promptly.
• Contribute to market information and annual sales forecasts.
• Manage branch personnel: hiring, training, motivating and evaluating.
• Coordinate promotions; maintain stock display and store cleanliness.
• Conduct timely performance appraisals of staff.
• Sell profitable growth to new and existing opportunities.
