Job summary

Rize Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Sahara or Henderson branch and supervise one to two micro-branches in the Nevada market. The role focuses on driving performance, member growth, and a digital-first experience.

You will cultivate relationships, partner across the credit union, and own sales and service goals while managing risk and building an engaged team aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of financial institution sales and member service experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Working knowledge of branch operations, compliance, loan practices, and credit union regulations and risk management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and growth goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and core banking and teller platforms; familiarity with CRM tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills with a consultative approach and high EI.
• Ability to interpret financial data, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing regulatory needs.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to travel within Nevada.

• Provide coverage at other Nevada branches as needed; travel within the Nevada market may be required.

Job description

Lead a team, grow relationships, and shape the member experience at one of our Nevada branches. As Branch Manager, you will oversee the Sahara or Henderson branch along with one to two micro-branches (North Las Vegas and Southwest), driving branch performance, member growth, and digital adoption while building a culture of collaboration and accountability.

You will champion consultative, relationship-based conversations that deepen members’ financial relationships, partner with teams across the credit union, and represent Rize in the community. You will own sales and service goals, manage risk, and lead an engaged, high-performing team aligned with our mission.

What You’ll Do

Lead and develop your team

• Provide strategic leadership that aligns branch operations with credit union goals, emphasizing efficiency, member service, and sustainable growth.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate staff through clear expectations, regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and ongoing feedback.
• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and service standards.

Deliver an exceptional member experience

• Lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and resolve escalated member concerns in partnership with other departments.
• Seek out and act on member feedback to continually improve the experience.
• Champion a digital-first mindset, ensuring your team can confidently educate members on mobile banking, online banking, and self-service options.

Grow membership and the community

• Build personalized relationships with members, run effective onboarding for new members, and coach your team in consultative selling and referrals.
• Strengthen community and business relationships that promote financial literacy and membership growth, and encourage your team to join outreach and volunteer events.

Run an operationally sound branch

• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and monitor branch activity for fraud, security, and operational risk.
• Oversee safe deposit box operations where offered.
• Analyze branch performance reports, manage the branch budget, and complete the annual budget process on time.
• Provide coverage at other Nevada branches as needed. Travel within the Nevada market may be daily, weekly, or extended to cover staffing gaps.

What You’ll Bring

Required

• Five or more years of financial institution sales and member service experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Working knowledge of branch operations, compliance, loan practices, and credit union regulations and risk management.
• A proven track record of achieving sales and growth goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and core banking and teller platforms; familiarity with CRM tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills, with a consultative approach and high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to interpret financial data, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business and regulatory needs.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to travel within Nevada.

Preferred

• Experience in business development and community engagement.

Physical and Working Requirements

• Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.; able to use a computer 6–8 hours per day and to climb or descend stairs in an emergency.
• Able to talk and hear, work indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area, and work extended hours when required.
