Greater Nevada Credit Union in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the branch manager in all operations, with a focus on leadership, member experience, and growth initiatives. You will address complex member issues, uphold compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes coaching staff, maintaining performance metrics, and delivering personalized solutions to members. The position is full-time and based at the Vista Branch in Sparks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a customer-facing retail/call center environment (financial services preferred)
• 1–2+ years of team leadership experience (supervision, mentoring, operations) or proven leadership through ownership, influence, and delivering results in fast-paced environments, including cross-functional work
• 2+ years of experience operating in a structured, metrics-driven, or regulated environment with clear processes, performance expectations, and/or compliance requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

About The Position:

The Assistant Branch Manager plays a critical role in supporting the branch manager in all aspects of branch operations and sales, with a primary focus on leadership, operational excellence, member experience, growth initiatives, and issue resolution.

• Actively engage with members to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide personalized solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, including customer acquisition and retention efforts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex member issues and complaints.
• Utilize effective problem‑solving skills to address member concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Work closely with internal departments to accelerate and resolve issues that require additional support or expertise.
• Implement measures to prevent recurring issues and enhance overall member satisfaction.
• Acts as Branch Manager when Branch Manager is not present.
• Includes addressing personnel matters as assigned.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel. You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Anything above 40 pounds requires a team lift.

Compensation & Benefits

• $ 23.08– $32.11per hour
• Compensation is dependent on experience
