Job summary

Gothic Landscape is seeking a Branch Manager for our Palo Alto, CA location. The role leads branch operations, drives client retention, and manages budgets to achieve profitability while building high-performing teams.

You will oversee daily operations, develop staff, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and the community to grow the business. A minimum of 5 years in landscaping with leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is highly preferred.
• Extensive landscape industry experience is required.
• Proven leadership or management experience is essential.
• Strong organizational/time management and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Palo Alto branch in achieving objectives for quality, client retention, growth and profitability.
• Ensure operations have people, equipment, and budgets to perform successfully.
• Inspect jobs to evaluate quality and ensure plans are executed.
• Lead training, coaching and development of branch team.
• Build relationships with clients through regular communication and events.
• Address customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Communicate company goals and align teams across the branch.
• Develop internal talent and promote from within when possible.
• Collaborate with Business Developer to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute annual/monthly/weekly business plans for branch operations.
• Hold teams accountable for financial, customer service and development goals.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Palo Alto CA branch This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall success of the branch including quality client retention team development business growth operational performance and profitability At Gothic an effective leader is someone who demonstrates integrity drive endurance and enthusiasm Building high performing teams with strong moral and ethical character and consistently doing what is right for our clients and employees are essential qualities of a successful Gothic leader

What Youll Do

• Lead the Palo Alto branch in achieving its overall objectives for quality client retention growth and profitability
• Ensure the operations team has the people equipment resources and detailed budgets necessary to perform successfully
• Personally inspect jobs to evaluate quality identify opportunities for improvement and ensure operational plans are being effectively executed
• Lead branch team building training coaching and employee development initiatives
• Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication meetings industry events and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Ensure customer concerns and reasonable requests are addressed quickly professionally and effectively
• Communicate company goals and departmental objectives throughout the branch and ensure teams are aligned and working together
• Develop strong bench strength within field and management teams to support current operations and future growth
• Identify and develop internal talent with promotion from within preferred whenever possible
• Partner closely with the Business Developer to identify new opportunities and drive market growth
• Develop and execute appropriate annual monthly and weekly business plans for branch operations
• Hold teams accountable for achieving operational financial customer service and employee development goals

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelors degree BA or BS from a four year college or university is highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of landscape industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience
• Proven ability to lead coach develop and motivate high performing teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Extensive experience in client relationship management and problem resolution
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of branch operations budgets profitability and growth

Compensation

120000155000 base salary per year Specific compensation may vary based on skills and experience Additional year end annual bonus potential based on branch and individual performance
