Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Branch Manager III in our Chinatown branch. You will lead a high-performing team to drive branch profitability, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

The role includes strategic planning, coaching, and active community involvement to grow deposits and cross-sell Bank products. You will manage budgeting, staff development, and reporting, traveling as needed within the footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred bilingual in English and Cantonese or Mandarin.
• 8 years of branch banking experience with a minimum 5 years branch management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth plans to achieve sales, productivity, financial growth, and customer service goals with Regional management.
• Provide leadership to branch staff in achieving defined branch goals.
• Coach staff on sales techniques to develop new customer relationships and referrals.
• Apply knowledge of the Bank's products to enhance customer relationships and cross-sell across lines.
• Market Bank products and services to the community and call on clients to grow business and retention.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and training of staff on operating problems and exceptions.
• Maintain community involvement through boards or committees and networking.
• Provide personalized banking services and expand customer relationships.
