Job summary

Airgas, a leading U.S. supplier of industrial gases and hardgoods, is seeking a Branch Manager II for our Medford, OR location.

You will oversee daily store operations, drive sales and margins, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and mentor a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include leading inside and outside sales, managing inventory, processing daily financials, and coordinating with HR and senior management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a customer facing environment.
• Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with equipment.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service for internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.
• Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities.
• Support the flow of accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports and bank deposits.
• Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order reports.
• Cultivate inventory levels for the branch and ensure efficient operations.
• Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge and safety.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and act as a bridge between employees and management.
