Qualifications

• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience with a related post-secondary degree.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Deep knowledge of branch operations, policies and technologies.
• Familiar with applicable regulations, audit standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose and values, modeling behaviours.
• Builds and leads interdepartmental teams to maximize branch value.
• Develops and executes a branch business plan to grow revenue and wallet share.
• Proactively identifies customer needs and referrals to relevant products and programs.
• Conducts cold calls and builds a local network to create new relationships.
• Maintains high-touch relationships with key branch customers and prospects.
• Monitors sales and service performance and closes gaps with action plans.
