Job summary

Jordan Sitter Associates seeks a Branch Manager to lead the Grand Junction Western Slope operation, driving local market execution, customer relationships, and revenue growth. Qualifications

The Branch Manager reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and is accountable for local market execution, customer relationships, revenue growth support, branch performance, and sales coordination. Direct equipment sales responsibility remains with the Sales organization, but the Branch Manager is expected to be commercially active, customer-facing, and deeply engaged in market development.
Service, Parts, Rental, Fleet, Finance, and other operating functions continue to be led through the appropriate corporate functional leaders. The Branch Manager serves as the local integrator, ensuring customer needs, sales activity, service execution, parts availability, rental readiness, fleet utilization, and branch operations are aligned.
This is not simply a facility management role. The Branch Manager is expected to think and act like the general manager of the Western Slope market, helping the company grow revenue, improve customer experience, strengthen local execution, and build the branch platform needed to support long-term expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Leadership & Branch Performance - 30%
  • Lead the overall performance, culture, customer experience, and local execution of the Grand Junction branch.
  • Develop and maintain a practical Western Slope market plan in coordination with the CRO, Sales team, and functional leaders.
  • Represent the company as the senior local leader with customers, employees, vendors, municipalities, contractors, and industry relationships.
  • Establish priorities, expectations, and accountability for branch employees while reinforcing company standards and values.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, professional, customer-ready branch that reflects the company's expectations.
  • Identify branch-level constraints, customer friction points, and operating issues, then coordinate resources to resolve them.
Sales & Customer Development - 25%
  • Partner with the CRO, Sales team, and product leaders to grow revenue, market share, and customer retention in the Western Slope market.
  • Maintain visible relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, prospects, municipalities, contractors, and local market influencers.
  • Regularly visit customers and jobsites to understand upcoming opportunities, fleet needs, product support gaps, rental demand, and competitive activity.
  • Identify opportunities across equipment sales, rental, parts, service, then connect customers with the correct sales or functional resource.
  • Support Sales representatives with branch resources, demonstrations, deliveries, customer visits, branch follow-up, and issue resolution when appropriate.
  • Serve as the local escalation point for customer concerns and ensure timely coordination of resolution with Sales and functional leaders.
Customer Support & Branch Coordination - 20%
  • Coordinate branch execution across Service, Parts, Rental, Fleet, and administration so customers experience the company as one integrated team.
  • Work with corporate Service leadership on scheduling visibility, open work order discipline, customer communication, field service needs, and repair execution.
  • Work with Parts leadership on inventory availability, fill-rate issues, parts processes, customer needs, and branch-level controls.
  • Work with Rental and Fleet leadership on fleet readiness, utilization, availability, maintenance status, delivery coordination, and customer demand signals.
  • Provide local leadership and escalation support while respecting functional authority under the Helix model.
  • Ensure operational crossover is coordinated between the CRO and CFOO where decisions affect sales execution, customer support, service delivery, parts performance, rental operations, fleet, finance, or operating processes.
Financial Performance & Business Planning - 10%
  • Understand branch revenue, gross profit, expenses, productivity, rental utilization, parts performance, service productivity, and overall contribution to company results.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, market planning, and performance review activities for the Grand Junction branch.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue growth, profitability, asset utilization, customer retention, and resource deployment.
  • Support collection efforts and customer account resolution when branch involvement is needed.
  • Use data, market intelligence, and customer feedback to help make better business decisions.
People, Safety & Culture - 10%
  • Coach, develop, and hold branch employees accountable for performance, communication, teamwork, and customer support.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee development for branch personnel.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure branch compliance with company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Create a branch culture of ownership, urgency, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure employees understand how their work supports customers, sales growth, operational excellence, and the broader Faris strategy.
Systems, Process & Cross-Functional Execution - 5%
  • Support implementation of company initiatives, operating processes, technology platforms, and future systems such as IntelliDealer.
  • Provide feedback on processes that affect branch execution, customer support, sales coordination, service delivery, parts flow, rental readiness, and fleet visibility.
  • Help simplify work, improve communication, remove bottlenecks, and create scalable branch practices that can support future growth.
  • Assist in building repeatable branch leadership practices for future Faris locations.
Key Measures of Success
  • Western Slope market growth, customer retention, and revenue contribution.
  • Branch revenue, profitability, expense discipline, and operating performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in equipment, construction, dealership, rental, industrial, automotive, distribution, service, operations, or a related field.
  • Commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and support sales growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead within a matrixed / Helix organization where authority, influence, and coordination must be balanced appropriately.
  • Ability to understand branch-level financial and operating performance, including revenue, gross profit, expenses, productivity, utilization, and customer support metrics.
  • Experience working across Sales, Service, Parts, Rental, and Fleet preferred.
  • Heavy equipment, construction equipment, municipal, infrastructure, dealership, or rental industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Western Slope construction, municipal, infrastructure, aggregate, paving, landfill, utility, or heavy equipment market preferred.
  • Comfort with technology, reporting, data, process improvement, and operating-system implementation.
