Our client, a rapidly growing heavy equipment and forklift dealership, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and expand its presence throughout the DFW market.

This is an entrepreneurial leadership role focused on branch growth, equipment and service sales, customer relationships, profitability, and day-to-day operations.

Rather than functioning solely as a traditional people manager, the Branch Manager will operate as the leader of the location and local market—taking ownership of revenue growth, customer development, operational performance, and overall branch success.

What You'll Do
  • Take ownership of overall branch revenue, profitability, and market growth.
  • Generate new business through equipment and service sales, including both inside and outside sales activity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the DFW market.
  • Identify new accounts and opportunities to expand the branch's customer base and market presence.
  • Develop strategies to increase equipment, parts, and service revenue.
  • Provide direction and support to the sales team while partnering with sales leadership on priorities and performance.
  • Support the parts department and ensure alignment with customer and branch needs.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and technicians to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate activities across sales, service, parts, and administrative functions.
  • Oversee general branch operations and office management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve branch processes, productivity, and profitability.
  • Represent the company within the local market and strengthen brand awareness and customer relationships.
  • Monitor branch performance and maintain accountability for revenue growth and profit margins.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience within the heavy equipment, forklift, material handling, or related equipment industry.
  • Strong sales and business development background with demonstrated success generating revenue.
  • Proven leadership or management experience.
  • Ability to develop customer relationships and grow business within an assigned market.
  • Strong understanding of dealership or branch operations.
  • Ability to provide direction to sales teams while collaborating effectively with service and parts departments.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of revenue, margins, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the DFW market and surrounding areas strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Forklift or material handling equipment dealerships.
  • Heavy equipment sales or service organizations.
  • Equipment rental or industrial equipment businesses.
  • Branch or dealership management.
  • Equipment and service sales.
  • Parts and service operations.
  • Branch administration and office management.
  • P&L or profit‑center responsibility.
  • Developing new territories or growing underdeveloped markets.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $75,000–$110,000 base salary.
  • Profit‑sharing bonus tied to branch revenue growth and profit margins.
  • Estimated annual bonus opportunity of $10,000–$20,000.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • Paid time off.
Ideal Candidate

You're an entrepreneurial equipment industry professional who wants ownership over the success of a branch and territory.

You're comfortable developing new business, meeting with customers, supporting sales efforts, and working across service and parts operations. You understand that successful branch leadership requires balancing revenue growth, customer service, operational execution, and profitability.

Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to build something and directly benefit from the growth you create.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a branch within a rapidly expanding heavy equipment and forklift dealership while playing a direct role in growing its presence throughout the DFW market.

You'll have significant autonomy to develop customer relationships, drive revenue, improve branch performance, and expand market share, with profit-sharing incentives that reward successful growth and profitability.
