Job summary

Mayer seeks a Branch Manager for the Greenville/Piedmont, SC area to lead a team and ensure profitable, safe branch operations. This role oversees budgets, sales initiatives, and daily activities, guiding personnel and inventory control while maintaining strong supplier and customer partnerships.

The position emphasizes leadership, safety, and results, with responsibilities spanning profitability, staff development, and process improvements to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment certification preferred.
• If required to make deliveries: Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass MVR checks.
• High School or GED is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize branch performance.
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and training to branch personnel.
• Ensure branch personnel have tools to achieve sales potential.
• Manage branch P&L to meet sales, income, and budgets.
• Enforce safety standards and perform asset inspections.
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors and deliver strong service.
• Oversee inventory control and stock levels.
• Collaborate with partners to support growth goals.
• Perform duties such as deliveries and counter sales when needed.
