Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a dynamic team across sales, service, maintenance and driver roles. You will drive customer service excellence, profitability and safe operations at a busy branch, leveraging your leadership and business acumen.

You will manage budgets, prepare reports, and guide staff through ambitious growth plans while maintaining compliance and a strong safety culture. This role rewards initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to community-oriented service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong leadership and people management experience.
• 5+ years of branch management with P&L responsibility.
• Understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required; outside sales preferred.
• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of equipment rental industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status.
• Manage personnel matters and develop talent across roles.
• Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug/alcohol testing.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
