Qualifications

• Must be able to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people in a professional manner.
• Experience in consumer lending or financial services preferred.
• Ability to promote credit union services and products to the community.
• Willingness to participate in community events and work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the credit union within the community.
• Develops branch business by initiating contact with companies and employees through visits, mailings, and calls.
• Makes loans to members after reviewing applications and credit reports.
• Performs capacity analyses and assesses collateral values.
• Makes credit decisions or refers to Loan Review Committee with recommendations.
• Ensures office is open, well-maintained, and administratively sound.
• Leads and develops staff, monitors performance, coaching, and counseling.
• Ensures compliance with laws, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assists with clerical operations of lending and teller functions.
