Job summary

HD Fowler Company is seeking a Branch Manager for the Olympia, WA location to oversee daily operations and drive profitability. You will manage inventory, sales, budgeting, safety, and customer relations while leading hiring, discipline, and scheduling to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations.

The role requires warehouse management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead a team through multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management.
• Experience in the waterworks, irrigation, pumps and/or construction industry is a plus.
• Highly organized multitasker with an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of company products and client business.
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while effectively managing through stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on to facilitate and monitor all branch tasks including inventory management, sales and marketing, compliance, reporting, bid board management, customer relations, accounts, budgeting and fiscal responsibility, procedural standards and safety.
• Plan and control expenses of a branch location with profit and loss responsibility.
• Set up a solid infrastructure in the branch through hiring, development, and cross-training of team members in order to support growth.
• Proactively collaborate with other departments and provide great internal/external customer service and routinely evaluate staffing-to-sales plan needs.
• Independently manage a high volume of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Director or Executive.
