Job summary

HD Fowler Company in Olympia, WA seeks a full-time Branch Manager to oversee operations at our Olympia branch. You will hire, schedule, discipline staff and manage inventory, budgeting, compliance, and safety to ensure cost effective, quality operations.

Lead a capable team, coordinate with other departments, and manage multiple projects in a hands-on environment. Our storied, family-owned distributor rewards initiative and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management.
• Experience in the waterworks, irrigation, pumps and/or construction industry is a plus.
• Highly organized multitasker with an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of company products and client business.
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while effectively managing through stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Work hands on to facilitate and monitor all branch tasks including inventory management, sales and marketing, compliance, reporting, bid board management, customer relations, accounts, budgeting and fiscal responsibility, procedural standards and safety
• Plan and control expenses of a branch location with profit and loss responsibility
• Set up a solid infrastructure in the branch through hiring, development, and cross training of team members in order to support growth
• Proactively collaborate with other departments and provide great internal/external customer service and routinely evaluate staffing-to-sales plan needs
• Independently manage a high volume of projects
• Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Director or Executive
