Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks a senior sales/leadership role to oversee a profit center and drive growth. You will recruit and develop the sales team, analyze trends for profitable opportunities, and maintain critical vendor relationships across branches.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree (or 1–2 years related experience), prior leadership, and strong organizational skills. Spanish is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior leadership in industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Refined leadership skills including managerial experience.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and team.
• Organizational and time management skills with delegation ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration.
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, and work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Make strategic decisions based on trend analysis to identify profitable business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Branch Credit Manager to establish an appropriate account base and ensure financial stability.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services.
• Foster a positive work environment and develop future leaders.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
