Job summary

Bobcat of Huntsville is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead all internal branch functions and drive sales and profits. You will supervise staff, oversee equipment, rental, parts and service, and ensure adherence to company procedures.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, financial oversight, and customer-focused service in a thriving dealership environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of management experience in the construction equipment industry, with solid knowledge of P&L,

Qualifications

• Minimum of associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience required.
• Stable work history in the construction equipment business.
• Understanding of financial statements including P&L, forecasting, budgets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead all internal branch functions to achieve branch sales and profit objectives and to align with company operating procedures.
• Train and motivate all store personnel while promoting a positive working atmosphere.
• Responsible for profit and loss statement of the branch and departments including equipment, rental, parts, service, and supplies.
• Direct all store-based activities so that customers are served, assets are controlled, company procedures are followed by all employees, and profits are generated.
• Control store-based inventories of parts, supplies, rental equipment and new equipment
• Operate branch in a manner to give maximum support to the field sales organization.
• Establish a culture of customer service throughout the store.
• Initiate and make recommendations to the Operations Manager regarding staffing, wage and salary levels, inventory levels, company policy and procedures.
• Cooperate with the Division Credit Manager, who has final authority regarding credit.
• Maintain all company operating facilities in clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Learn all aspects of the business and be able to cover for all department heads at any time.

• Understanding of financial statements including P&L, forecasting, budgets, etc.
• Strong management skills including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be results driven and a self-starter.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.
• Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.
• Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, printer, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. on a repetitive basis.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift.
