Job summary

ALS in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to oversee the Minerals sample preparation facility. You will be responsible for the overall management of the branch and personnel, ensuring production targets and safety standards are met in a fast-paced lab environment.

Lead workflow coordination, troubleshoot issues, manage sample logistics, and drive quality programs while fostering a constructive workplace culture and engaging staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years management or supervisory experience in a production, manufacturing, industrial or laboratory environment.
• Post-Secondary Education (Diploma or Degree) in Geological or Chemical Sciences preferred.
• Previous experience in the Mining industry, Minerals, analysis, geology industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of the sample preparation facility including production, workflow coordination, troubleshooting and sample logistics.
• Ensures productivity targets are met in a safe and sustainable manner.
• Manages on-site human resources including recruiting, performance management, and staff scheduling.
• Upholds health, safety and environment policies and maintains quality documentation and audits.
