Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a District Manager to lead a Indianapolis branch across Installation, Service, Sales, and administration, driving high performance and team development.

You will build relationships with healthcare and retail clients, contractors, architects, and suppliers, manage margins, forecasts, and ensure project profitability.

Directly reporting to the District Manager, you will take ownership of installation and servicing of automatic doors in the designated area.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing employees in multiple installation and service divisions within one location.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-phased operation.
• Experience supervising administrative personnel in scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation and service activities.
• Experience managing multiple business units into a cohesive team and developing a service culture focused on customer/end-user results.

Job description

• Lead and oversee all branch operations, including Installation, Service, Sales, and administrative support

• Build relationships with healthcare and retail clients, contractors, subcontractors, architects, suppliers, and other industry partners


• Manage workforce development, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and coordination with factory and sales teams


• Ensure project success, operational efficiency, and profitability


• Manage installation, service, and sales departments and associated administrative personnel, field associates, and independent subcontractors


• Meet established goals and growth objectives under the District Manager


• Develop managers and administrative personnel


• Maintain communication with the factory regarding backlog and job release/work in progress


• Coordinate with Branch Sales to determine labor hours and project margins


• Review projections and forecast reports frequently


• Perform additional duties as assigned


• Directly report to the District Manager


• Take full responsibility for installation and servicing of automatic doors in the designated area

Requirements

• Direct experience managing employees in multiple installation and service divisions within one location


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-phased operation


• History of long-term employment desired


• Experience developing a service company across demand service, Planned Maintenance contracts and growth, service quoting and sales, field efficiencies, continuous training, inventory control, collections, and recruiting, hiring, and monitoring field technician levels


• Experience supervising administrative personnel in scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation and service activities


• Experience managing multiple business units into a cohesive team and developing a service culture focused on customer/end-user results


• Familiarity with general construction, contract documentation, and customer contact


• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including different hours and weekends if necessary


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


• Experience establishing monthly forecasting and results


• Computer experience with Microsoft Office and Baan


• High School Diploma required


• AA, BA, or BS preferred
