Job summary

Bank of the Orient seeks an experienced Branch Manager for the Bellaire Branch in Houston, TX. The role focuses on developing, planning, and executing a comprehensive branch strategy, with supervision and coaching to ensure secure operations and policy compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in banking, including 3+ years as Branch Manager, and a strong emphasis on deposits growth and commercial lending. Bilingual Chinese and Vietnamese is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years banking experience with at least three years as Branch Manager.
• Preferred emphasis on deposits development and commercial lending.
• Bilingual in Chinese and Vietnamese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute the Bellaire Branch strategy as a full-service branch.
• Provide supervision, support and coaching to ensure branch is properly opened, closed and secure while following policies.
• Maintain and grow a deposit and loan portfolio through business development activities.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to help managing our Bellaire Branch in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, planning and strategy of a full-service branch office. Branch Manager provides the appropriate supervision, support and coaching necessary, to ensure that the branch is balanced, opened, closed and secure and that all Bank policies and procedures are followed while providing the highest quality of customer service. Branch Manager will maintain and develop a deposit and loan portfolio of customers and prospects through various business development activities.

Requires a minimum of 5 years banking experience with at least three years as a Branch Manager. Preferred emphasis on business development of deposits and commercial lending. Familiarity with the San Francisco area strongly desired. Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Bilingual in Chinese and Vietnamese Preferred
