Branch Manager Role

The Branch Manager is responsible for daily planning and resource management within the branch to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals. This includes profit and loss responsibility related to branch performance. The Manager aims to secure the company's market share across product lines in the assigned territory. The decisions and recommendations made will impact the organization broadly.

Compensation includes a competitive salary with a performance-based bonus, full medical benefits, 401K match, and PTO package.

Responsibilities
  1. Leading and motivating the sales team.
  2. Reviewing sales and margin reports, tracking key metrics, and providing performance updates.
  3. Building and maintaining relationships with top customers.
  4. Hiring and training staff.
  5. Maintaining the appearance and safety of the store, warehouse, and property.
  6. Identifying effective strategies to meet market needs and coverage.
  7. Ensuring inventory is organized and accurate.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of experience in a sales managerial role.
  2. Experience working with customers in Industrial, Steel, or Commercial Construction sectors.
  3. Financial literacy, including P&L and financial reports.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  5. Knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  7. Coaching skills.
  8. Problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role involves working in an office and warehouse environment. Standard office equipment is used regularly, and the role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling. Lifting up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance may be required. Exposure to outdoor weather and loud noises is possible. Some weekend or late-night work may be necessary, and travel up to 25% of the time is expected.
