Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a Branch Manager for our Mobile, AL location to lead daily operations of the branch, including will-call counter, inside sales, fabrication, and warehouse.

You will build relationships with customers, vendors and associates to grow sales of fire protection products and services, including pipe, valves, fittings, tools, and design services. The role reports to the Area Manager and oversees a small team of about five associates, with two people managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership/management experience preferred, not required.
• Prior industry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams.
• Proven track record using data and metrics to drive solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for customer-facing associates and branch functions.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Branch Manager in our Mobile, AL location. This location sells Fire Protection Products and services. This position leads local operations of this location which includes a will call counter, inside sales team, fabrication production facility, and warehouse. The successful candidate will establish relationships with customers, vendors and associates to grow sales of all fire protection products including but not limited to pipe, valves, fittings, tools, fabrication and design services.

Position Details Reports to Area Manager Direct oversight of approximately 5 associates including 2 people managers

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the organization’s customer-facing associates and branch functions Develop a team with focus on customer service, policy and strategy implementation Run the overall operation of a branch location including hiring, coaching, and scheduling of employees to ensure efficient and quality branch operations Maintain inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch Build and maintain an environment of engagement by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to solve problems Analyze store data and identify areas of opportunity, and implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance of the location Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures

Qualifications

3+ years leadership/management experience is preferred but not required. Prior industry experience is strongly preferred Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively lead through stressful situations Proven track record to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

• Pay Range:
• $4,541.67
• $7,258.34
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
