Job summary

Standard Supply & Distributing Co. is seeking a Branch Manager Trainee in Fort Worth to launch a long-term career in operations and leadership. You’ll rotate through branch functions—from warehouse and counter sales to inventory and processes—gaining hands-on experience and mentorship for future leadership roles.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in HVAC, a willingness to relocate, and a drive to grow within a family-owned company that values service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• Willing to relocate for future branch management opportunities.
• Clean driving record (no major or repeated infractions).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing warehouse duties.
• Comfortable with bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing ladders and overhead items.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships to drive sales and service.
• Oversee inventory control and optimize stock levels.
• Learn accounting procedures and clerical tasks to support branch operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance across all branch activities.
• Support warehouse functions: receiving, stocking, shipping.
• Handle counter sales and customer transactions with professionalism and product knowledge.
