Job summary

Citadel Credit Union in Exton, PA is seeking a Branch Manager in Training to develop future leaders through structured learning, coaching, rotational assignments, and hands-on leadership experience. You will learn branch operations, sales leadership, business development, and delivering an exceptional member experience while coaching teams and meeting annual goals.

You will work with Retail leadership, Business Banking partners, and support teams to build trust with members and colleagues,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of banking, financial services, retail leadership, or related experience.
• Demonstrated interest in branch leadership, sales development, and team coaching.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Financial Industry experience preferred.
• Notary preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the Branch Manager in Training curriculum.
• Learn to develop and manage a defined market business plan to increase profitability and track performance.
• Assist with cultivating existing member relationships by maintaining periodic contact to determine banking needs.
• Develop the ability to manage a book of clients with cross-selling and deepening relationships.
• Learn to manage daily branch operations, including operations, sales, customer service, and security.
• Support branch achievement of annual goals through coaching, marketing activities, and performance tracking.
• Assist in ensuring service excellence and integrity through clear communication of strategies and expectations.
• Develop leadership by coaching staff and supporting training and career development.
• Learn interviewing, talent selection, onboarding, and performance management practices.
• Learn to optimize branch resources to achieve the greatest return in sales generation, efficiency, and member satisfaction.
• Develop knowledge of branch risk management and compliance requirements.
• Provide sound financial decisions in conjunction with fee and interest rate reviews and elevate exceptions for review.
• Evaluate business trends and collaborate with leadership to support outcomes.
• Serve as an ambassador of Citadel to enhance its reputation in the community.
