Job summary

Pioneer Bank in New York is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee all facets of branch sales efforts and operations. You will collaborate with the Market Leader to implement branch strategy and leverage partnerships to expand retail and commercial relationships.

The role requires coaching, staff development, compliance with bank policies, and the ability to adapt scheduling to evenings and Saturdays. Notary prefered and MS Office proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail sales management experience, including responsibility for direct supervision of staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate sales skills and capacity to motivate branch staff to cross sell financial services.
• Experience in coaching, leading, mentoring staff required.
• Notary Public certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of acceptance of position.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, E-mail, internet software, and capacity to learn retail banking computer system is essential.

Responsibilities

• Achieve established sales goals and core deposit growth by retaining and developing existing client relationships.
• Cultivate retail and commercial business with partnerships and community involvement.
• Coach branch staff and develop knowledge to refer retail and commercial relationships.
• Develop and execute coaching strategy with the Market Leader to build staff competencies.
• Ensure customer service standards are met and branch operations comply with policies.
• Oversee scheduling, counseling, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining branch personnel.
