Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, safety, sales, rentals, and staff development at the Indianapolis branch. The role emphasizes leadership, customer relations, and achievement of branch goals through effective coaching and strategic planning.

The position requires substantial experience in management, knowledge of hydraulics and water handling products, and a proven ability to drive revenue while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business-related field or equivalent.
• Eight to ten years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Five years of direct management experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pumping, irrigation system design, and water handling products.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Branch operations, including Safety, Sales, Order Fulfillment, Product Delivery and Customer Service.
• Build, train and develop Branch staff to ensure team success.
• Review sales and income statements to reduce costs and improve margins.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve financial goals.
• Promote a positive company image by addressing customer concerns and maintaining a neat, safe facility.
• Participate in credit decisions and bid processes; manage relationships with key accounts.
