Job summary

Extraco Corporation seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead Bryan/College Station's branch operations, coach a high-performing team, and drive sales and service excellence. You will assist in budgeting, scheduling, and audits while serving as the manager in their absence.

You will foster a positive work environment, build relationships with customers, and refer clients to mortgage, wealth management, and insurance specialists to grow the business. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 5 years of retail banking experience required.
• 5 years of supervisor experience required in a banking or retail environment with direct oversight of employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations including scheduling, audits, and cash handling logistics.
• Serve as point of contact in the branch manager’s absence and lead the team to ensure customer service excellence.
• Coach and develop the branch team through regular 1on1s, development plans, and performance feedback.
• Refer customers to mortgage, wealth management, and insurance as appropriate.
• Assist in managing branch budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
• Support relationship bankers in achieving sales targets and customer service goals.
