Job summary

Greater Nevada Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Ely, NV to support the branch manager with leadership, operations, and sales initiatives. You will guide staff, uphold policies, and ensure an exceptional member experience while driving growth and handling complex member issues.

In this role, you’ll monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, collaborate with internal teams, and step in as Branch Manager when needed. A strong emphasis on service and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in banking or customer-facing financial services.
• 1–2+ years of team leadership experience in fast-paced environments.
• 2+ years in a structured, metrics-driven or regulated setting with defined processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and mentor staff to achieve branch goals.
• Improve member experience and resolve complex member issues.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and compliance standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the branch manager on growth strategies.
• Conduct regular audits and implement best practices.
• Foster a member-centric culture and proactive problem solving.
• Act as Branch Manager in their absence and address personnel matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams to escalate issues needing specialized support.
