Job summary

Arise Financial in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Member Experience Assistant Manager to lead daily branch operations and deliver exceptional member service while developing a high-performing team. You will report to the Branch Manager and help coach staff, manage audits, and promote financial solutions to meet member needs.

This role requires at least two years in banking, supervisory experience, strong sales and relationship-building skills, and exceptional organizational and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the financial services or banking industry.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with the ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, member-focused approach.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling operational and member service situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial services systems.
• Ability to travel to other branch locations as needed and work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day branch operations and exceptional member service.
• Assume Branch Manager responsibilities during absences or other duties.
• Coach, train, and develop branch team members with ongoing feedback.
• Assist with performance evaluations and salary recommendations.
• Process member transactions and balance cash during peak periods.
• Support branch audits and cash drawer/cash handling procedures.
• Ensure security and accuracy of cash and compliance with internal controls.
• Promote Credit Union products and services to meet member needs.
