Job summary

American Fence Company is seeking a Branch Manager in Training in Salt Lake City. This two-year program rotates you through installation, rental, counter, sales, finance, and leadership, preparing you to run your own branch. The role pays $60,000+ DOE with bonuses and requires willingness to travel and relocate after training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Management or Construction Management.
• 1+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
• 2+ years in construction, rental sales, or related field.
• 2+ years in management.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Understanding of P&L, inventory control, budgeting, collections, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate fencing project activities to meet deadlines.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, and delivery dates.
• Create or approve contract addendums for subcontractor work.
• Discuss and resolve matters with owners, contractors, or staff.
• Explain plans and contract terms to owners, developers, and staff.
• Obtain necessary permits or licenses including blue stake or marking service.
• Review inventory and ensure customer accountability for missing/damaged panels.
• Inventory yard weekly for variance and track causes.
