Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, BA Degree and/or 2 years in Banking.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience or more of prior banking, 10 years’ management/supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, proven leadership experience, strong PC skills, problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge: Leadership and communication skills, planning and organizational skills, decision-making, writing, presentation, customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Tracks progress toward branch loan and deposit goals and directs actions to achieve objectives.
• Develops branch projections and expectations in strategic planning to include sales goals.
• Leads by example, models customer relations, and promotes effective selling and cross-selling.
• Supervises staff daily; makes decisions on performance, promotions, and terminations.
• Directs hiring, training and retraining of branch staff on operations and product knowledge.
• Conducts regular staff meetings on sales campaigns, policies, and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with security procedures and audit requirements; coordinates with Regional Operations.
• Provides timely and accurate service to customers, offering appropriate financial solutions.
