Job summary

Truist in the United States—Lakeland, FL is seeking a Branch Leader responsible for guiding branch performance through coaching, recruiting and client development. The role emphasizes building Small Business and Mass Affluent relationships while ensuring compliance and risk controls.

The candidate will lead a team, partner with IRM and Operations, and drive revenue through targeted client strategies, community engagement, and strong daily team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance.
• One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and in support of the Truist culture.
• Drive the business development of the branch to deliver both strong team performance as well as strong individual performance.
• Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies.
• Participation in civic, government, professional, business, community affairs to prospect and develop new business.
• Responsible for executing branch engagement routines by leading, growing, coaching and motivating teammates.
• Partner with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures and risk management; promote One Team culture.
• Manage human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
