Trustco Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Cobleskill, NY to support the Branch Manager in daily operations and supervisory duties. You will oversee staff, ensure service quality, and drive branch performance with a focus on security and compliance.

You will leverage experience in mortgages, IRA services, and personal banking to tailor solutions for clients while fostering a welcoming community presence. This role is full-time with varied hours.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
• Strong customer service background.
• Cash handling expertise.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Well-organized and adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in collaborative environments.
• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs., stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Operational Leadership: Step into the Branch Manager's shoes during their absence, manage staff, and maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
• Team Supervision: Oversee Head Teller and Teller teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Branch Branding & Growth: Build a strong branch identity, promote sales initiatives, and champion customer service.
• Customer Engagement: Connect with clients and prospects, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure satisfaction with high standards.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Review and approve transactions, maintain policies.
• Performance & Standards: Meet or exceed branch performance metrics, ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Professional Development: Enhance banking acumen and sales techniques through training and education.
