Job summary

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Branch Inventory Specialist in West Allis, WI, to manage branch-level inventory accuracy, purchasing activities, and accounts payable support while assisting inside sales as needed. This role collaborates with the Branch Manager, Warehouse Manager, Inside Sales team, and Corporate Purchasing to optimize stock levels and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work across multiple systems (Agility, OnBase, etc.).
• Clear understanding of document flow and AP reconciliation processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management with weekly cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Purchasing and stock replenishment using SPOs and vendor coordination.
• Receive and transfers management: PO receipt, records, and discrepancies.
• AP processing and reconciliation in OnBase with supporting documents.
• Support inside sales during peak periods or staffing gaps.
