Job summary

SRS Building Products - McKinney is seeking an enthusiastic Branch Intern to participate in hands-on learning across operations, sales, and service at our McKinney distribution center. You will gain exposure to receiving, warehousing, dispatch, delivery, and customer interactions while shadowing a Territory Manager for outside sales.

Qualified applicants are current students, available for 10–12 weeks, with a drive for growth and potential future opportunities in our Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a degree program relevant to our business (Business, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales or Management).
• Expected graduation within 2 semesters following the internship.
• Willingness to commit to a 10–12 week, hands-on internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily operations of a high-profile distribution center under the Branch Manager.
• Learn receiving, moving, loading, dispatch, delivery, customer service via phone, and order entry.
• Shadow an experienced Territory Manager for outside sales.
• Lead strategic projects and present outcomes to executives.
• Participate in a three-day corporate visit to present project results.
