Job summary

Fsnb is seeking a Branch Intern to spend the summer at one of our branches, learning day-to-day operations of a community bank. You will shadow staff in both deposit and loan sides, gaining hands-on exposure to customer service, account services, lending, and regulatory compliance.

The role targets curious, professional students or recent graduates eager to learn and contribute during a structured internship with opportunities for a capstone project and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree inFinance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow the deposit team to learn teller transactions, cash handling, drawer balancing, and new account opening.
• Learn about account maintenance, debit card services, online and mobile banking, and fraud prevention.
• Shadow loan officers through lending, from application to closing, including credit analysis basics.
• Shadow experienced professionals to understand relationship management.
• Learn about compliance and regulatory requirements within banking.
• Complete a summer project and present key takeaways to branch and leadership staff.
• Participate in developmental activities to support learning and exposure to the organization.
