• Shadow loan officers through the lending process, from application to closing, including an introduction to credit analysis and underwriting basics.
• Shadow experienced professionals to understand relationship management.
• Learn about compliance and regulatory requirements within the banking industry.
• Complete a summer project and present key takeaways to branch and leadership staff at the end of the internship.
• Participate in a variety of developmental and professional activities designed to support learning and exposure to the organization.

Position Summary

The Branch Intern will spend the summer at one of our branches, learning how a community bank operates day-to-day. This is a hands-on, observational role, shadowing experienced staff on both the deposit and loan sides of the branch, gaining exposure to customer service, account services, lending, and regulatory compliance.
