Qualifications

• 5 years of distribution or manufacturing management experience.
• Documented management and sales profile.
• Thrives in entrepreneurial, high-accountability culture.
• Experience with branded and generic products in a B2B environment.
• Proven transition from high sales performance to coaching/leadership.
• Excellent verbal/written/presentation communication; strong phone skills.
• Proven customer relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Experience with inventory and cycle counting procedures.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development, increase sales and profitability of the distribution center.
• Understand P&L and take full responsibility for results.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Optimize performance of Inside and Outside Sales Teams to maximize sales and gross margin per employee.
• Manage distribution center operating costs to minimize expenses per employee.
• Coach and develop personnel to realize potential and Rugby mission.
• Manage Rugby safety policy.
• Oversee inventory and accounts receivable to targets (inventory turns, dead stock, shrinkage, DSO, bad debt).
• Represent Rugby to business partners with high professionalism.
