McCollister’s in Village of Menands, NY is seeking a General Manager to plan, lead, organize and control branch activities in line with corporate direction, policies and objectives. The role oversees revenue growth, budgeting, HR, training, dispatch and customer service, ensuring quality scores, loss prevention and profitability while upholding company values and procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with at least 3 years in warehouse

Formación

• 3+ years in warehouse management.
• Warehouse experience including receiving, inspection, shipping, wireless inventory control, and data entry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with automated WMS systems.
• Industry knowledge of moving industry/competition.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office and Google G Suite.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Motivating and inspiring staff with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Respect for employees and fairness in dealings with associates.
• Developing people and improving knowledge, attitude and skills.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with operations, fleet administration, driver recruitment, training, warehousing, planning and dispatch.
• Warehouse and facilities management.
• Consistent, well-implemented training programs with measurable and well-documented results.
• Branch administration including management support for credit and collections, billing, general accounting, A/P, and customer service.
• Consistent revenue growth through effective resources planning.
• Revenue forecasting, budget planning and expense control.
• Quality compliance measured by quality scores and customer satisfaction reports.
• Human Resource management including wage evaluations, performance reviews, background checks, recruitment, policy compliance, disciplinary warnings, terminations, and team building.
• Evaluating performance standards, defining criteria to measure progress against objectives.
• Recording and reporting performance, evaluating performance annually, and identifying deficiencies.
• Establishing organization structure, identifying and grouping employees into efficient positions.
• Customer awareness—cognizant of customers’ business needs.
• Company awareness—knowledge of McCollister’s and UniGroup’s functions/services.
• Operational proficiency—plan and execute a broad range of services or design and deliver custom services in response to unique client needs.
