Job summary

ICCU’s Burley Branch is seeking a Branch Loan Officer to work on-site in Burley, ID. The role involves interviewing and qualifying members for loans, helping members open new accounts, and promoting Credit Union services to meet member needs.

Responsibilities include assessing mortgage applicants, gathering verification documents, and communicating throughout the loan process. The position emphasizes accuracy, member satisfaction, and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–2 years sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal lending regulations and general lending policies.
• Ability with math, ten-key calculator, typewriter, and computer.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview members to gather data for loan applications and make loan recommendations to Underwriting.
• Open business accounts and pull credit reports to assess eligibility.
• Review mortgage applicants and manage all communications during the mortgage process.
• Cross-sell Credit Union products and services and maintain high member satisfaction.
• Back up the teller line and support branch operations as needed.
