Job summary

AbriCare is seeking an experienced, hands-on Branch Director to lead the North Kansas City, MO branch. You’ll own operations, growth, and performance while building a strong team, developing partnerships, and delivering exceptional client experiences, with accountability for financial results.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Operations, you’ll drive local revenue, manage staff, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience recruiting, supervising, or managing teams.
• Must reside in North Kansas City or the surrounding Kansas City metro area.
• On-site work at North Kansas City branch with local travel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Commitment to customer service, team development, and continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 21+ years of age.
• Flexibility for on-call support including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Missouri RN, or Bachelor’s/Master’s, or LPN with relevant experience.
• Two years of direct care experience supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations including staffing, scheduling, payroll, billing, and service delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop office and field teams with accountability and collaboration.
• Establish efficient processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Drive caregiver recruitment, retention, and workforce stability.
• Provide on-call leadership for urgent staffing and client concerns.
• Develop strategies to increase branch revenue, referrals, and local market presence.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
• Represent AbriCare at community events and outreach initiatives.
• Own branch financial performance including P&L, budgets, revenue and expenses.
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-informed improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri DHSS, DSDS, MMAC and Medicaid requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to align services with client care plans.
