Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver I for our PLATT team in Livermore, CA. You will deliver products to/from customers and branch locations, ensuring correct, damage-free materials and proper documentation. No CDL is required and training may be provided.

The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and adherence to DOT regulations, with opportunities to assist in warehouse tasks as needed and to participate in a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Must attend company driver training in lieu of experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of repairs.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify order accuracy and damage-free condition.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signature and packing list.
• Pickup material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Pickup material from suppliers.
• May support other warehouse duties such as stocking, shipping, and receiving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
