Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper delivery documentation. The position may involve assisting with orders, stocking, and training entry-level drivers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify material against orders for accuracy and damage.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation (delivery receipt, packing list, manifest).
• Pick up returns and inspect condition and quantities.
• May be required to perform other duties at the branch, such as counter sales or stocking.
